that a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council following non attendance of Cllr Picken for 6 months.

If by 9 December a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors** for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option at the Parish Council meeting on 8 January 2024.

If an election is called, it will take place within 60 days

Unfortunately the meeting tonight has to be cancelled as two Councillors are unable to attend. This means that the meeting would be inquorate and therefore cannot go ahead.
